Gamechanger: The New Google AdWords and Google Analytics 360 Suite

The shift towards a mobile first world is not arriving, it’s already here. Everyday, people use their mobile devices for those moments when they want to know where to go, what to do and what to buy. Our phone is now our personal concierge and companion.

Among the trillions of Google searches, more than half of web traffic is coming from mobile and tablet. Last month Google held their Performance Summit via livestream and in it included a Google Ads & Analytics Innovations Keynote presentation focused on mobile. You can also read about the mobile first revolution on the official AdWords blog.

Here is a brief recap of some of the amazing keypoints from the Google Ads & Analytics Innovations presentation.

1. Expanded Text Ads For Mobile

Google removed sidebar ads earlier this year and it now makes more sense why they went that route. This is a great time to rethink old and new campaigns and how you will make adjustments accordingly.

2. Responsive Display Ads

This new tool will unify the the Google Display Network, allowing for advertisers to easily create a responsive ad — there will be no longer a need to resize ads based on the site or device. This will certainly make life much easier for uploading and creating ads as well as media planning too.

3. Ads in Maps: Promoted Pin and Business Page
